Action Network Point Arena Building Gets an Internal Overhaul – Closed until Early Fall 2020!
An interior remodel is currently underway at 200 Main Street in Point Arena at the Action Network Family Resource building.
Thanks to funding from a USDA Facilities grant, we are able to upgrade the current interior of the building. We hope to open the refurbished center by September 1, 2020 with the vision of opening our doors for after-school programs, evening gatherings for teens, playgroups for families, children and family services, and community gatherings.
We will also be offering our Learning Series, open to all, with presentations on Mindfulness and Healing, Community Resilience Leadership, Raising a Healthy Child and more!
This building, once the Bank of America building, was founded by A.P. Giannini in 1904 as a bank for the “little guy” (it was called bank of Italy at the time), and the new use of that building by Action Network Family Resource Center is to benefit the same – Mr. Giannini would likely approve.
We look forward to seeing you at our new center in the fall!
