Ninth Annual 5K & 10K Gualala River Runs The coolest Run in California - where the river meets the sea! Enjoy a gala featuring runs, walk, brunch and raffle with all proceeds benefiting the Action Network Family Resource Centers youth programs. The 5K and 10K courses follow the Gualala River through a majestic redwood forest and the 10K course continues on through forests of mystery normally closed to the public. Enjoy these magnificent runs in the cool coast climate of Gualala, located two hours north of the Bay Area on the Mendocino Coast, Just north of the Sea Ranch. The start/finish is at the premier Gualala Arts Center. Event day includes the spectacular Coastal Creations Brunch served at Gualala Arts Center, open to all, with discounts for registered race or walk participants. Medals, gold, silver & bronze, are awarded in nine men and women's age categories starting with Youth age 10 and under.
